Sometimes it is really hard to come up with dinner ideas for the week, even though there are a shit ton of recipes out there. Sean and I tend to get stuck in a rut of the same few easy recipes that we ultimately get tired of, and I don’t know why with how many recipes are out there.
While watching a Jessica Braun video a few weeks ago and she talked about how she and her husband changed the way they set up their weekly menu. Like me, Jessica and her husband would try to make a month long dinner menu, buy almost everything, and then have food go bad because they skipped a meal here and there. Her solution, and now mine, is to only plan four or five meals a week giving you two or three days for left overs or nights out.
So I wanted to share a week of dinners. Last week we did five dinners with one leftovers night and my birthday dinner.
Hello Friends! I hope you all are doing good! Today I wanted to share one of my favorite new recipes. Spicy Garlic Noodles with Chicken. I originally found this recipe on Pinterest as an easy side dish and added a little of my own flair to it. It’s super customizable to you or your families liking. I’ve included photos of the finished product as well as the making so you can kind of see what mine looks like. Happy eating and I hope you enjoy!
Starting a healthier lifestyle has been hard, as it would be for anyone, but it has been a lot harder for Sean. Unlike me, Sean is very picky about not only his food but also how it is cooked and coming up with not only meal but snacks have been hard sometimes.
So today I am going to share with you Sean’s favorite healthy snacks that are so simple that most people will love them. These snacks are low in calories and will hold you over when you hit that mid-afternoon slump.
Grapes are at the top of the list for Sean. He really loves Cotton Candy grapes that are only around for about a month in the summer. Yes, they really do taste like cotton candy with all the benefits of eating grapes and none of the bad things that come from cotton candy.
As you can probably tell by now, I really love Pinterest! Not only because it gives me so many ideas but it is kind of easy to share on a blog post. So today I am sharing some of my favorite summer grilling pins that I tend to use throughout the summer. These include main dishes, sides, and even grilled dessert.
When I think of summer desserts I often think of something that is light, airy, easy, and sometimes frozen. Who really wants a dessert that is heavy on your stomach when you are already uncomfortable in the summer heat. One top of that no one wants to turn their oven on 350 for very long when it is already 90 outside!
So here are some of my summer dessert recipe recommendations for you. Most of these came from Taste of Home 75 No-Bake Summer Desserts, so go check out that list!
What is summer with out a nice tall glass of cold lemonade as you sit in a lawn chair and soak your feet in a kiddie pool? Well.. it is still summer but a less enjoyable summer!
Lemonade has always been a summer staple for many people and sometimes, in my opinion, it can get boring… So I decided to collect a few lemonade recipes that are sure to change up your basic lemonade in something suited for a summer party.
Sharing a weight loss journey can be hard for some people and I am one of those people. So instead I figured why not just share the things I am enjoying with in my weight loss journey. One thing I have always enjoyed is cooking and baking, but when it comes to WW, formally Weight Watchers, it can sometimes be hard to find recipes that both Sean and I will eat and both love.
So here are a few of the recipes that over time I have found that we both love.
