It’s that time again where I share my monthly obsessions!
First I am starting with three items all from the same brand, Sol De Janeiro. I first encountered this brand in one of my FabFitFun boxes a few years ago. I have to say that I didn’t really like the original products from Sol De Janeiro but when they came out with the Coco Cabana line I loved it. Here are my first three monthly obsessions.
This cream is amazing! I love the small, which doesn’t fade. It comes in three sizes; purse size 25ml $10, travel size 75ml $20, and full size 240ml $45.
The website describes the scent of this cream as; “deliciously complex coconut scent with Brazilian-inspired notes of coconut cream from young green coconuts, tropical orchid and toasted praline.”
The Coco Cabana cleanser is very new and I am very happy they extended the line of Coco Cabana products. This is available in two sizes; travel size 90ml $10 and 385ml $25.
The website describes the cleanser as; “This ultimate shower treat hugs your body with soothing ingredients for comfy, clean, bouncy skin. In our mouthwatering scent of Cheirosa ’39 fragrance (Coco Cabana Cream) with notes of young, green coconut, tropical orchid, and toasted praline.
Last Sol De Janeiro product is the Coco Cabana Body Fragrance Mist. It is the cherry on top of the tropical cupcake.
The website describes the mist as; “Our Coco Cabana Mist captures the essence of Cheirosa with notes of coconut cream, tropical orchid and toasted praline – and a scent you’ll want to use everywhere.”
So… This one seems odd to me also, I know your’e thinking it because it’s sheets. The reason I am obsessed is because I don’t have to deal with the fitted sheet coming off the corners of the mattress anymore!
This basic sheet set have a fitted sheet, top sheet and four pillow cases. Each corner of the fitted sheet has two sets of elastic to help keep the sheet secure on the mattress.
Price listed is for Queen size.
I really love this cutting board. I struggle to find cutting boards I like, which is a weird thing. Right?
I have tried plastic and butcher block boards but things have always gone wrong with them. This board hasn’t even cracked yet like most butcher block boards would have.
My number one pan for pancakes and fried eggs. I have a big electric griddle that I love but sometimes I just don’t want to dig that out.
This griddle is nice a flat, heats evenly, and is amazingly nonstick. I have tried many pans that say they are nonstick but they fail every time. This pan hasn’t failed once, even over open flame cooking with a camp stove.
Fall and winter are my absolute favorite seasons, hands down.
Now that I got that out here is for favorite cup. I got this for camping because, well, it’s cute. However, it is in the cupboard and I use it all the time.
From now on when I do these monthly favorites I want to include mine or Sean’s favorite recipe of the month.
This months is the Taco-Stuffed Mini Peppers featured in my first Cookbook Challenge post.
Sean and I loved this recipe and it is going into our regular weekly menu rotation.
I love sharing the things that I love with our readers and I hope that you can find something here that will turn into your next obsession.
