Every month or so I do a post about my current beauty faves or current lifestyle faves but I wanted to combine those into a monthly obsessions post. Because I write on this blog I try to mix up products I am using so that it’s not just repeat after repeat on these kinds of post. Combining the beauty faves and lifestyle faves posts into one monthly obsessions post makes it easier because I’m not able to mix up what I’m trying more.
So lets start with some lifestyle faves and then beauty faves.
MyFitnessPal and Map My Walk
Both of these apps are what I am currently using to track my weight, food, and activity. I have made posts about WW and I still follow that program but in addition to that I am tracking my calories with MyFitnessPal. In addition to that I am also mapping my walks with the Map My Walk app to get accurate distances and times for my walks.
It feels a little odd taking about my bra on here but this is a list of my current obsessions/favorite things. Right…
So this is the most comfortable bra I have found on Torrid or anywhere. The typical bra just doesn’t support enough but the design of this distributes the weight it hold a lot better.
I want to own this bra in every color they have in multiple quantities just in case it get discontinued or ‘re-designed’!
Okay.. So this is LeighAnn Says newest video and I’m including her in my monthly obsessions because I love her videos. LeighAnn is a vlogger, beauty, and lifestyle YouTuber. I love watching LeighAnn, her husband Grant and their doggo little Ms Luna Bean.
Chobani Flip Stawberry Cheesecake
Is it weird that I included a Greek yogurt in my monthly obsession? I hope not because I am 100% obsessed with it.
I started eating these because I was looking for something that was great for breakfast and snacks but light on calories.
My other favorites are: Apple crisp twist, chocolate chip cookie dough, coffee brownie bliss, s’more s’mores, and strawberry cheesecake.
Noxzema has come a long way since my grandmother used it when I was growing up. In fact she still used it everyday until she passed away.
I remember when Noxzema only had one choice that was great for clearing up your skin but it made my skin SUPER dry.
Today they have more options like the moisturizing cleansing cream that I currently use.
I have always loved the HangoverRX series from Too Faced and recently they extended that line of products. I love their moisturizer and refreshing/setting spray and decided to give the new serum a try.
I really like the feel of this serum and it feels better than most serums I have used. Usually, even when stated to be ‘hydrating’, serums dry out my skin more than it was in the first place.
This serum hydrates and smooths my skin.
Technically this could be considered a repeat BUT Vital Proteins has changed something!
This looks exactly like the other collagen but they have a new formula that adds Hyaluronic Acid and Vitamin C.
According to the website: “Original Collagen Peptides with Hyaluronic Acid + Vitamin. For the die-hard Collagen Peptides fan who’s looking for a little something extra in their routine, this option puts a “boost” in their scoop. Get all of these benefits in a formula that’s now thrice as nice thanks to the addition of hyaluronic acid and vitamin C. In addition to grass-fed collagen, which supports healthy hair, nails, skin and joints, comes skin-loving hyaluronic acid plus vitamin C, which helps promote the body’s natural collagen production and promotes a more youthful appearance.”
That’s it for this month. What are your current obsessions?
